Reporting a calculation error
If a result looks wrong, please include:
- The page or calculator you used
- The salary and options you entered (tax code, region, pension, student loan plan)
- The figure you expected and where it came from, for example your payslip
Please do not send your National Insurance number, bank details, payslips or other personal documents. We do not need them to check a calculation.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give personal tax or financial advice, and we cannot change your tax code or payroll. For questions about your own tax record, contact HMRC or use your personal tax account.
